With experience spanning large-scale population studies, rigorous impact evaluations, alternative data applications for welfare measurement, and strategic development in tech non-profits, Afsana is committed to harnessing technological innovation to enhance development analytics and programming effectiveness.
Afsana holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of Dhaka and recently completed her Master's in Public Affairs from Princeton University. She is currently working on skills development and labor market intermediation initiatives across Eastern and Southern Africa, South Asia, and Latin America. Alongside her ongoing engagement with the World Bank, she is now helping design, evaluate, and scale open-source AI-powered solutions for LMIC labor markets with Tabiya, a tech non-profit originating from Oxford University and currently housed within the Global Development Incubator.
